The Islanders are coming to the match after a narrow victory over the rock bottom SC East Bengal. On the other hand, FC Goa is arriving in the match after a loss against the League leader Hyderabad FC. These two teams had their rivalries which are known to us from the past. Meanwhile, the coach has said, “We want to create our own chances. We will have our plans. We know that they will have the ball. Our players need to be smart at how we play without the ball and how we press. Moreover, it will be important what we do with the ball.”

Mumbai City FC injury concerns:
Meanwhile, the champions had to play the last match without the service of Ahmed Jahouh who plays a pivotal role for the team. When he was asked about his availability he responded, ” The result of the scan has come out. It is not bad. Yes, he is in contention for the selection for the next match. But the last thing we want is that he plays a match and gets injured once again. So, we will look after him and will take a final call after the advice of our medical team. Everyone is available for selection.”
On the other hand, FC Goa will be looking to play for the fans and pride. They will look to collect as many points as they can and finish the season on a high note. Most of the foreigners have a contract with the club until the end of the season. So, they will be looking to perform to their best ability to get clubs in the next season.
