Q.1 How does it feels like to play for CSK?
Ans: I can’t describe the feeling. I was like at the top of the world. I was very nervous on the day of the auction, Because you don’t know what is going to happen, during the auction when I am selected, I was in quarantine in Haryana during the Ranji Trophy. All my teammates came out of their respective hotels rooms and started cheering for me, which made me feel great. My parents also called me up to me how happy they were. Kasi sir messaged me, welcoming me to the CSK family and wishing me well for the upcoming season. Mukesh Choudhary will play his first IPL.
Q.2 What is your experience with MS Dhoni, I mean you both have practiced so much time in the nets?
Ans: The first time I was bowling to Mahi Bhai, because of the sheer respect I have for him and because of never seen him from up close, I was simply bowling to him quickly and picking up the ball. One day in Mumbai after we were done with practice, Mahi Bhai called me over to have a chat. I still get goosebumps thinking about that moment. During practice matches, I did dismiss Mahi Bhai on a couple of occasions. I have saved the footage of those dismissals such that I can take a look at them every now and then. All the coaches, Rajiv sir, and Rutu have supported me immensely. Ruturaj has given me a lot of advice in terms of what I should be doing. Ambati Bhai has also given me a lot of support.
Q.3 How was your journey to CSK?
Ans: I used to live in an apartment in Pune earlier, During those days, my sister supported me a lot by sending me food at all times, providing motivation and encouragement. There used to be days when I would not feel all that inspiration to train and practice, but she instilled in me the value of hard work and would motivate me to go to practice. Even when I would not feel like doing so.
