Sandesh Jhingan is all set to stay at ATK Mohun Bagan for the next season, More Details

Sandesh Jhingan is all set to stay at ATK Mohun Bagan for the next season: After an unpleasant experience in Europe, ATKMB talisman Sandesh Jhingan wants to remain at the club for the next season. Sandesh joined the Mariners in the 2020-21 season. After a successful season, Jhingan decided to join the Croatian club HNK Sibenik. Due to injuries, the defender couldn’t replicate his form as he returned to ATKMB in January. Having helped ATKMB to advance in the inter-zonal semifinals of AFC Cup 2022, many reports indicate that he might leave. According to our source, he is willing to stay at ATK Mohun Bagan at least for the next season(subject to abroad offers).

Sandesh Jhingan ATK Mohun Bagan:

In the recently concluded AFC Cup 2022 group stage, ATK Mohun Bagan faced heavy defeat at the hands of Gokulam Kerala. Sandesh Jhingan missed the match due to fitness concerns. However, he was declared fit and came back with two solid performances to help the team advance into the Inter-Zonal Semifinals. Sandesh provided stability maintaining high passing accuracy, inch-perfect tackles, and clearances in the big moments. As we move closer to the transfer window, the rumors about his move to Europe have already picked up momentum. However, A source close to the ongoing situation told us that he would wish to stay at the current club for at least the next season.

Sandesh Jhingan signed a two-year deal with HNK Sibenik last year. However, the defender mutually parted ways with the club and rejoined ATKMB. After returning to full fitness, he showed his class in the recently concluded AFC Cup 2022 group stage. It remains to be seen how he shapes himself for the next season. Meanwhile, Sandesh can also change his mind at the last moment which is looking very unlikely.
