East Bengal situation ahead of facing DHFC

East Bengal had to face several setbacks ahead of the season but they are trying their best to form a competitive squad for the new season. With the acquisition of Ivan Gonzalez as a foreigner, Emami East Bengal are looking to build a strong domestic squad. They have already signed the likes of VP Suhair, and Aniket Jadhav to their ranks, while Stephen Constantine will be looking to add a few more quality foreigners before the campaign starts.

East Bengal players had already a few practice sessions a the EB ground. However, things are not looking bright as Sarthak Golui and Aniket Jadhav suffered injuries during practice. It will be interesting to see how Stephen lines up his team against DHFC.

On the other hand, in-form Diamond Harbour FC, led by Kibu Vicuna, are coming to this match after a hard-fought win over Salkia in CFL Division 1. With their promotion almost certain, DHFC players will be looking to showcase their skills in front of a 7000-packed crowd.
