A new chapter for Spanish forward Alfred Planas Moya as he signs one year deal with Punjab FC: Spanish forward Alfred Planas Moya is set to begin a new chapter in Indian football after completing a one-year move to Punjab FC, with his contract running until May 31, 2027. The experienced attacker joins the Shers after an impressive spell with Inter Kashi FC, where his performances made him one of the standout foreign players during the 2025-26 season.
Planas arrives with a wealth of experience gained across Spain’s competitive football system. A product of the youth academies of Espanyol, Málaga CF and CF Damm, he developed his game through several Spanish clubs, including UE Sant Andreu, CF Reus Deportiu, AD Alcorcón, Elche CF, Valencia Mestalla, Marbella FC, Unionistas and Sestao River, building a reputation as a versatile and hard-working forward.
His journey to Indian football began with Gokulam Kerala in 2025 before he moved to Inter Kashi, where he quickly adapted to the demands of the league. In just 13 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign, the Spaniard scored five goals and registered one assist, underlining his ability to make an impact in the final third.
