AIFF increases the seat allocation numbers for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup 2023 Qualifiers: Due to high demand for the AFC Asian Qualifiers, the All India Football Federation has decided to increase the number of available tickets to 50,000 for Wednesday when India plays Cambodia from 8:30 pm after Hong Kong meet Afghanistan. Meanwhile, all tickets are complimentary.

AIFF increases the seat allocation numbers for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup 2023 Qualifiers

Rahul Parashar of the federation’s competitions department said that The AIFF has decided to make a provision for 50,000 tickets for Wednesday. Depending on the response, the All India Football Federation will decide on the numbers for the remaining match days.

After Sunil Chhetri sounded incredulous about the lack of response, the tickets were sold out within minutes of them being available through a website on Saturday afternoon. Parashar mentioned that was because a part of the tickets was released.

Meanwhile, another federation official said that after allotting tickets to the government, IFA, and AIFF partners, only around 8,000 were left and a part of that was made available. Indian Football Team kick-off their campaign on June 8 against Cambodia, followed by matches against Afghanistan on June 11, and Hong Kong on June 14. All of India’s matches will kick off at 8.30 pm.

Fans left frustrated as the selling was delayed due to technical glitches. Two later, it was available just to go out of stock in ina few minutes. A few hours later, the second phase tickets were also sold out within 15 minutes. It clearly shows the demand for tickets. It is a relief for the fans as 50000 thousand spectators will be allowed and Indian Football Team will be looking to advance by putting a solid performance in front f the fans.
