Ayush Badoni IPL 2022: Ayush Badoni, the young sensation of Lucknow Super Giants has made his name after scoring fifty on his debut. The boy who represents Goa in the Ranji Trophy has sat down with the media team to discuss his aim for this season.
Q.1 How Coaching stuff of LSG help you?
Ans: ” Gautham Gambhir has backed me a lot. he told me to play my natural game and also play the ball, not the bowler. After that, I got a lot of confidence and they also told me that I have to play the full season not just 2 or 3 games. They also told me that you don’t have to worry about situations, senior will take care of situations, that’s why I am able to play freely.”
Q.2 What is the message to you when you went out to bat?
Ans: Hooda bhai told that you are a natural hitter, and your game is attacking, so you can take your time, you don’t need to hurry. I thought I play my natural game now, and after that, I will back to my natural instinct.
Q.3 What is your reaction to you after missing out on the previous seasons?
Ans: I don’t have any idea, my name is coming into the auction for the last three years but I got unsold, so, this season when my name came to my heart just pumped up. I don’t know I went for trials for two-three teams but did able to get selection. I don’t have any but Lucknow picked me so I am very grateful and I have to give my 100%. Ayush Badoni IPL 2022
Q.4 How do you see the last three years’ struggle?
Ans: yeah, last three years I had to struggle, I had not got much chance from the Delhi team. I tried enhancing my game in the last few years. I have learned a few shots and also practiced more and it benefited me the most.
Q.5 What about being sent to bat ahead of Krunal Pandya to bat in his debut game?
Ans: When playing for Delhi, out of five games, 4 games where I did not go to bat, played just one game and got out initially. So, after the selection for Lucknow, we have to perform for the trial matches where I made two fifty-plus runs. Thereafter, Gautham bhaiya, Vijay sir, and Andy Flower our coach chose me, That’s why they back me and could be sent ahead of Krunal Pandya. That’s why it has happened.
