ISL 2024-25: Chennaiyin FC to finish league stage with back-to-back home games as full schedule released
ISL 2024-25 – Chennaiyin FC to finish league stage with back-to-back home games as full schedule released: Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) has officially released the full fixture list for the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25. Among the key highlights, the much-awaited Kolkata Derbies are set to take place in mid-January and February, while Kerala Blasters will host Mohun Bagan during Valentine’s Week, adding to the season’s excitement.
For Chennaiyin FC, the latter part of the campaign holds a favorable run of home fixtures. The Marina Machans will conclude their league stage with back-to-back home games at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. They will host NorthEast United FC on March 3, followed by Jamshedpur FC on March 9 to wrap up their league journey.
The schedule offers Chennaiyin a much-needed advantage, with six of their final 10 matches being played on home turf. This comes after a challenging start to the season, where they played seven of their first 10 games on the road.
In 2025, Chennaiyin FC’s first match of the year will be a home fixture on January 9, where they face Odisha FC—a reverse of their season opener. The Marina Machans will also welcome strong contenders such as Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Kerala Blasters FC, and Punjab FC during the second half of the season.
The club’s travels include two crucial visits to Kolkata, where they will play against Mohammedan Sporting on January 15 and East Bengal FC on February 8. They will also have away fixtures against Bengaluru FC and FC Goa, adding to their challenging away schedule.
With the release of the full fixture list, Chennaiyin FC will aim to build momentum at home as they seek a strong finish in the league stage and push for a playoff spot in the competitive ISL 2024-25 season.
