ISL Announces Dates for 2024-25 Season Playoffs

The Indian Super League (ISL) has revealed the dates for the highly anticipated 2024-25 season playoffs, with the regular season concluding on 12th March 2025. The knockout matches will take place on 29th and 30th March 2025, followed by the two-legged semi-finals on 2nd-3rd and 6th-7th April. The grand final will be held on Saturday, 12th April 2025.

Mohun Bagan SG made history by winning the League Shield for the second consecutive season, becoming the first team in ISL history to achieve this feat. Alongside Mohun Bagan SG, FC Goa (2nd), Bengaluru FC (3rd), NorthEast United FC (4th), Jamshedpur FC (5th), and Mumbai City FC (6th) have all secured their spots in the playoffs.

In the playoffs, teams ranked 3rd to 6th will compete in two single-legged knockout matches to determine who will face Mohun Bagan SG and FC Goa in the semi-finals. Mohun Bagan SG and FC Goa have earned direct entry to the semi-finals due to their top finishes in the league. The semi-finals will be played in a home-and-away format, with the winners advancing to the final on 12th April, hosted at the higher-ranked team’s venue.
