Odisha FC officially announce the signing of Sachin Suresh: ISL 2026-27
Odisha FC announced the signing of Indian goalkeeper Sachin Suresh on a two-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2028. Born in Kerala, Suresh began his footballing journey with the Sports and Education Promotion Trust (SEPT) before progressing through FC Kerala and joining the Kerala Blasters FC system.
The goalie represented Kerala at various age-group levels and has also featured for India at youth level. Suresh made his senior debut for Kerala Blasters in the 2023 Super Cup before making his Indian Super League debut later that year. He enjoyed a breakthrough 2023–24 campaign, establishing himself as a regular between the posts and making 15 league appearances, including five clean sheets. He continued to develop as one of Kerala Blasters FC’s key goalkeeping options in the seasons that followed, bringing valuable ISL experience to the Odisha FC squad.
Speaking about his move to Odisha FC, Sachin said: “I’m very happy to have signed for Odisha FC. I’ve heard a lot of great things about the Kalinga Warriors, and I’m really looking forward to meeting the fans. I can’t wait to get started and give my best for the club.”
The 25-year-old now begins a new chapter with the Kalinga Warriors, joining Odisha FC as the club continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the upcoming campaign. Odisha FC welcomes Sachin Suresh to Bhubaneswar and wishes him every success in the Kalinga Warriors colours.
The club has already completed the signing of several key foreign and domestic players, with the announcements expected to be made in the coming days.
If all goes according to plan, Odisha FC will begin their pre-season next week in Bhubaneswar.
Last season, Coach TG worked with an entirely Indian squad. However, this time around, the gaffer will have a much more balanced squad at his disposal. It combines domestic talent with experienced foreign players as they aim to secure a place in the top six.
