Rasikh Salam Dar IPL 2022: Rasikh Salam Dar a 22 years old bowler from Kulgram, Jammu first in 2019 was picked by Mumbai Indians but had gotten many chances in the team to play. In 2022 he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for a base price of 20 lakhs in the mega Auction of IPL. He made his debut in Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2018 for Jammu and Kashmir, and in Ranji 2018-2019 season. Q.1 Who is your favorite bowler? Ans: My favorite bowler is Dale Steyn. I enjoy watching everything about him and I like his pace, his swing, and his intensity in a match. So, I want to replicate him means I want to bowl the way he did with the same swing and the pace. Q.2 What is your dream batter which you want to out? Ans: Sachin Tendulkar. It was a dream for me to take his wicket.

Q.3 You bowled well, have you ever tried your batting skill?

Ans: I enjoy batting a lot. Earlier in my childhood, I used to have a different grip than others. However, I changed it. The way I used to bat it hurt my wrist. So then onwards, I started batting left-handed. I batted left-handed for almost one year and then I switched to right-handed. Q.4 Do you have any interest in sports apart from cricket? Ans: Whatever sport I play, I give my all. Where I am from, we play volleyball. Sometimes also play football. Q.5 What do you do in your free time? Ans: Mainly, I chill with my friends. We go trekking in the mountains, have something cooked at our friend’s place, and reminisce our school memories together, now that everyone has gone their separate ways.
