So after the auction, the questions are pretty clear. They will have some young players this season. As Muralidharan indicates that Punjab-born Abhishek Sharma will be open with Captain Kane Williamson. Williamson who could only manage 266 runs in 10 matches, will have the most responsibility to build a responsive total.

In the middle, they have pretty players like Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, Priyam Garg. Rahul Tripathi played some match-winning knocks for KKR in the last season. Pooran will be played as a wicket-keeper batsman for full time as hinted by the management.

Allrounder like Washington Sundar, Shreyas Gopal may be played some vital roles. Sundar had a decent last year for RCB

Bowling of SRH:

The bowling dept Bhubaneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, T. Natarajan, Marco Jansen, and Sean Abbott could be the nightmare for the opponent. Natarajan had a decent speed, but his slower ball and other variations could make him dangerous. The sheer speed of Umran Malik will also be a good factor for the team. But they either can Afford Jansen or Abbott. So it’s all up to the management whom they will play.
